Pamara began her training at the Cleveland Ballet Center in Cleveland, Ohio at the age of 7. At age 14, George Balanchine awarded her a full Ford Foundation Scholarship to attend his School of American Ballet. Upon completing her training, she joined the Joffrey Ballet, ultimately attaining the rank of Principal.

Since moving to Glens Falls in 1977, she has worked extensively as a teacher and choreographer. Pamara joined ARDT in 1982, bringing to ARDT the profound knowledge of her 25 year career. Her works have been performed by ESIPA, Lake George Opera, Glens Falls Community Theatre, and many other dance companies.


She has instructed dance for Skidmore College, the Syracuse Ballet, Briansky Ballet Center and was the ballet instructor at Adirondack Community College, as well as a faculty member of Siena College, Russell Sage College, and the Albany Dance Institute.
Amongst her many accomplishments, Pamara performed leading roles in "Swan Lake" and "Coppelia" in addition to many other ballets.  Pamara was instrumental in founding The Ballet School in Cooperstown, NY, as well as The Glens Falls Figure Skating Club.

Pamara currently lives in Greenwich, NY with her husband Tim. She has two grown children.
