Kristin began her dance training at the age of 3 at a local dance studio. At age 9, she began formal ballet training in both the Vagonova and Cechetti methods, as well as continuing her classes in jazz and tap. Throughout high school she performed locally in dance and theater productions, for the Lake George Opera Festival, and with the New York City Ballet at SPAC.

After High School, Kristin went to Skidmore College as a Dance Theory major and continued her training.
While at Skidmore, she studied various forms of dance such as jazz, tap, belly dance, and improvisation. Her main concentrations were in Classical Ballet and Modern Dance. She also took intensive courses in musical theory, choreography, dance history, and education for dance, and graduated with a BS Dance degree in 2001.

Professionally, Kristin has choreographed for numerous local theater groups, and high school productions, worked for the Saratoga Performing Arts Center doing lecture demonstrations on the New York City Ballet, and has performed for various productions companies and in shows at Six Flags Great Escape. Kristin has enjoyed over ten years as a dance teacher of all ages of students. She has taught ballet to beginners through adults, modern dance at ACC, and has also taught Pilates.
Kristin is also the owner of Prima, a dance supply store in Glens Falls. She lives in Lake George with her husband Larry and their son, Bennett. Kristin is delighted to be a part of ARDT, and looks forward to working with all of the dancers and their families.
