Rachel J. Seebode was born and raised on the east end of Long Island. Her love for dance and the theater was very apparent at an early age. She spent much of her time traveling into the city to take dance class and experience as many Broadway shows as she could. Rachel began studying dance at the early age of 5. She performed all over Long Island and performed in many dance competitions. Rachel pursued her love for the arts at the State University of NY at Buffalo and graduated with a BA in Dance and Theater. Rachel’s professional career has taken her throughout the east coast performing, choreographing and teaching to dancer’s of all ages. She can also been seen in many national commercials and promotional videos. Some of her favorite roles have been Cha Cha in “Grease”, Rosalia in “West Side Story” and Betty Blake in “Will Rogers Follies”. Her love for dance and theater remains a big part of her life in upstate NY. Rachel currently teaches tap and musical theater dance at Adirondack Repertory Dance Theater. Rachel has also started her own theater company Broadway Upstate in 2012. Directing and choreographing musicals is her love. Rachel would like to thank all her loving friends both near and far for all the love and support. Rachel and her husband Keith have 2 daughters, Gabriella and Savannah whom they love very much.
